The EU Commission has on Monday the 28th June 2021 approved the United Kingdom as a secure third country in terms of data protection.
This means that personal data freely can be shared between data controllers and data processors in the EU and UK without extra transfer documentation.
The United Kingdom has been updated in Privacy Platform to be a secure third country, which will affect both data controllers and data processors in current and future data flows. The update is active from to day.
We will keep you updated on potential further development.
